Planning a family trip?
If your child will be absent for 3–14 school days due to family travel, they may qualify for Independent Study. Independent Study provides learning to help students stay on track while also allowing them to receive attendance credit, helping reduce chronic absenteeism.
To enroll in Independent Study, please stop by the office or email Nora at [email protected]. We ask for at least five school days' advance notice so teachers have time to prepare materials before your child's absence.
Please also remember to keep your PowerSchool Parent Portal updated with your current phone numbers, email addresses, home address, and emergency contacts. Having accurate information ensures we can reach you quickly if your child becomes ill or in the event of an emergency.
